Preparing For Your Bridal Appointment
What to bring?
You don’t need to bring anything but yourself to your appointment! I Do Bridal supplies the necessities such as shoes, bra cups and slips.
Limit your entourage.
Too many opinions can make the experience overwhelming!
Bring photos of dresses you like.
It will give your wedding professional a good start in selecting dresses for you!
If you find the dress you want… be ready to put down a deposit!
I Do Bridal requires a 50% deposit of the purchase price.
At Your Bridal Appointment
Make sure you’re on time.
Bridal appointments usually take an hour and a half. Be prompt so you are assured your full bridal session with undivided attention from your wedding professional.
Have an open mind.
You might look good in something you didn’t expect!
Wedding gowns run small.
Don’t get discouraged! Wedding gowns typically run 2 sizes smaller than your street clothes.
Move around in the dress.
Walk, sit, bend, bust a move! You want to be comfortable on your big day.
You may cry— you may not.
Reactions vary from bride to bride. Some cry and some just know that’s it’s “the” dress.
Complete the look.
Select hair pieces or a veil to complement your dress ! This way you can get an idea of how you will look from head to toe.
Don’t get discouraged!
